Famillathlon initiative was born in France to promote the idea of strengthening the relationship between parents and children through sports, learning and entertainment. We at Salvis Pharma stand behind this initiative and support active attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.

We took the opportunity to introduce the Leaton product line of multivitamins, which is inspired by the idea of helping contemporary people in maintaining a healthy balance in their body.

More than two years ago several guys from our team spontaneously shared the idea of climbing the highest peak in Western Europe. The management of Salvis Pharma not only supported the idea, but was also personally involved in the preparation in the face of our General Manager Eva Borissova.

For the professional training of the future climbers was engaged Climbing and Mountaineering School “Vertical World”. The enthusiasts from the team of Salvis Pharma upgraded their mountaineering and climbing skills and in the period 2015-2016 they trained on the most challenging mountain routes in Bulgaria and conquered the tops Mount Musala (2925 m) in Rila and Mount Vihren (2914 m) in Pirin. We also conquered Olympus – the highest mountain in Greece (2917 meters).

These routes included many of our employees and so the dream lived in the hearts of the entire team.

The cherished ascent of Mont Blanc (4808 m above sea level) started on August 31, 2016 from the Italian resort of Breuil Cervinia with an acclimatisation ascent of Mount Breithorn (4164 m). Here our colleagues Georgi Nizamov, Stefan Denizov, Vassil Vassilev, Chavdar Blagoev and Lyuboslav Stoyanov, and our General Manager Eva Borissova admired the picturesque views of Mount Matterhorn – the most recognisable peak in the Alps, and experienced their first “walk” across the surface of a real glacier.

On September 1, our brave climbers settled in the resort town of Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc, which impressed them with its unique alpine atmosphere, flower decorations and small, picturesque hotels. The mountaineers spent the day off to reach by cable car one of the iconic peaks in the area – Aiguille du Midi (3842 m) offering a close view of the entire massif of Mont Blanc, and the valley of Chamonix.

On September 2, the group climbed to Goûter hut (3817 m) – the place for the night before storming Mont Blanc. The climb started with a gondola lift and a rack railway. These were followed by a 3-hour hike to Tête Rousse hut (3167 m), lunch break, and a new 3-hour hike to the destination.

On September 3, the enthusiastic climbers departed at 5 am well equipped with ropes, helmets, ice picks and crampons. They climbed the slopes of Mount Goûter, rushed to the saddle of Col du Dome, and dawn found them on the shelter of Vallot, where the final three-hour climb started.

The landmark moment came at 9:40 in the morning on September 3 – the flag of Salvis Pharma is unfurled next to the Bulgarian flag on the summit of Mont Blanc.

This is another achievement which strengthened our belief that the recipe for conquering both mountain peaks and life and business peaks require focus, perseverance and dedication.

Madzharovo is one of the most important sites in Bulgaria for the protection and conservation of birds of prey, in particular the endangered Egyptian vulture. The exhibition hall in the Nature Conservation Center provides visitors with opportunity to learn many facts about the unique biodiversity in the region.

About 7% of the area is protected by law under the national legislation. Patronka Protected Area is declared to protect the colony of griffon vultures. In 1997 the area is declared Important Bird Area by BirdLife International.

The area is exciting for visitors with its impressive scenery of Rhodopy rocks and cliffs, and for the spectacular meanders of Arda River.

The winners visited also the Cromlech near Dolni Glavanak village – a Thracian sanctuary from the early Iron Age.  The place is known as “The Bulgarian Stonehenge” as it is built by vertically upright megalith stone blocks surrounding an area with oval form, and the view from the top is breath-taking.

Slavis Pharma joined the march for the second year in a row. “The Way” is an inspiring experience for us.

We walked along with thousands of enthusiasts and we felt the incredible emotion to dive into history, to enjoy lovely scenery, to create new friendships and to feel part of something big!

Salvis Pharma joined the event, which took place on May 15 – the International Family Day, in South Park, Sofia. Children and parents had fun together and over 40 clubs for sports and leisure activities cared for their entertainment.

Our team sought the support of families for two good causes – the campaign “Grain of love” of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds that helps the survival of wild birds in cities, and the National Tourist March “Following the Footsteps of the Botev’s Detachment” which is the biggest patriotic event for tourists in Bulgaria.

There were gifts and surprises for children.

Park visitors had the opportunity to taste multivitamin syrups Leaton that promote health and well-being.

The crowded Great Hall of the theatre “Bulgarian Army” was echoed with laughter through tears and with the applauses of nearly 500 connoisseurs of the fine conceptual humour that contains profound messages.

During the еvent the medical professionals – pharmacists and doctors shared their knowledge and experience with our team on the topic “When and how to recommend to the greatest benefit of the patient?”, inspired by the presentation of our respected colleague Dr. Christozov.

Prof. Lambov, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy gave an academic speech.  Greeting speeches were given by prof. Mitev, Rector of the Medicinal University, Mrs. Dessislava Anachkova, Chairperson of Parliamentary Health Committee, Mr. Sergey Ignatov, Minister of Education and Mr. Miroslav Nenchev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union. 

A special speech was given by Eva Borissova, M.D., General Manager of Salvis Pharma. She was awarded the Honorary sign of the Faculty of Pharmacy for special contribution. 

The guests enjoyed the Hilda Kazassiyan and Bend concert after the official part of the event.

In the informal atmosphere of the cocktail the guests met the legendary figures of pharmacy in the centuries Galen and Panacea, discussed the latest professional news and exchanged thoughts on the future of the development of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Bulgaria.
